How does car leasing with Hippo work?
We offer a simple, transparent, and hassle-free leasing process. If you like the look of the deal above, you’ve already done half the work in finding the right lease. If this is the deal for you, the next step is to check whether you’ll be pre-approved for funding using our free soft credit check that won’t impact your credit score (if you are pre-approved, a hard credit check will be carried out should you wish to proceed). Once you’re pre-approved, you’ll then be able to reserve your chosen deal using your MyHippo account online. You can complete the same process over the phone with one of our expert account managers. Once the agreement has been fully approved and signed, the deal is yours. We’ll deliver your car to our Blackburn showroom where you can pick it up for free, or we deliver it directly to your driveway if you’d prefer. Leasing is all about getting more bang for your buck – and leasing used makes things even cheaper. With a leasing deal, you’ll typically benefit from cheaper upfront and monthly payments than you would if buying, which means you’ll be able to get a better car on your budget. Can new drivers lease a car?
We do lease to new drivers, but you’ll need to be at least 18 years old to get a lease deal with us because it’s a financial agreement. Generally speaking, you’ll need to have a full UK driving license to get your chosen lease, but certain lenders will offer you a deal if you have a provisional license only.
