A night to impress at Hippo Leasing

On a night where the UK took to the polls, we opened our doors to 20 high-calibre prospective Hippo Leasing account managers.

Looking to bolster our already 53-strong long-distance team, we welcomed applicants from a wide range of backgrounds looking to take the next step in their career.

With a realistic OTE of £50,000 – £70,000 a year up for grabs and only seven spots available, it was a night to impress.

Surrounded by some of the finest cars on the road today, housed in our brand-new, state-of-the-art showroom, it was time to get to business. First up, a chance to get to know Hippo Leasing.

Knowledge is power

Presented by Sales Manager, John Lay and Leasing Sales Manager, Rebecca Marsden, those in attendance were taken on a journey through our company’s heritage, philosophy, future growth and discovered what it would mean to become a dedicated account manager at Hippo Leasing.

A tour of the facilities followed. From the modern, well-stocked showroom, to our state-of-the-art, on-site service centre. It was a great opportunity to get to know the lay of the land as well as appreciate the dedication we have in providing our customers with outstanding service.

And then came a brief get to know you session. A short chat where the 20 prospective account managers had the chance to ask any questions, while we got to know the person behind the CV.

It’s something we know is important. As when you’re looking to hire the best; looking to hire those who our customers want to tell their family and friends about, you need someone who is more than a piece of paper.

The dust settles

As the dust settles over another hugely successful open evening, things look bright. Every candidate impressed, offered something different and gave both John and Rebecca something to think about.

“This was the second recruitment day we’ve had this quarter,” John said. “The first one was extremely well attended, as was this one.

“We were very pleased with the calibre of people who came to see our operation, and we had some excellent chats with some of the candidates.

“We’re really looking forward to welcoming seven new account managers in January 2020. It’s a great way to start the year and, I think, shows our dedication to making sure our customers receive the highest standard of service with Hippo Leasing.”

Sales Admin

If you’re an experienced administrator and would like to get involved in the payouts department, get in touch. The successful candidate will have some experience in processing motor finance payouts.

Live Chat Advisor

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated advisor to be responsible for managing our live chat enquiry system. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers looking to purchase a vehicle and will work to ensure each of our customers is transferred through to a salesperson as efficiently as possible.

Showroom Cleaner

We’re recruiting for a cleaner to assist in keeping our prestigious showroom immaculate. The successful candidate will have very high standards and work alongside our existing cleaner.
