Let’s face it, there is something quite alluring about the profile of a Coupe. This is how cars are meant to be designed with the promise of adventure in their flowing lines, unconstrained by the need to fit into the SUV’s boxy shapes, more like something out of the Art Deco era where simple yet sophisticated design trumps all.
The problem with Coupe’s is that the manufacturers normally add on another zero at the end so it’s just as well that Hippo Leasing has zero deposit used examples of loads of the UK’s favourite coupes and here are just 5 of them.
The Vauxhall GTC was previously known as the Astra GTC and is an excellent Coupe which is practical, stunning to look at and genuinely affordable when you consider that Hippo Leasing has them on zero deposit deals.
The GTC certainly looks the part and with its clean lines, poised but slightly aggressive look, it just begs to be taken out for a ride. There are loads of engine options. The most economical coupe is the 1.6 litre diesel with 110hp that will do up to about 67 miles per gallon with CO2 emissions of a smidge over110g/km making it a real contender for company car purchases.
There is also a 2.0 litre petrol version which produces a powerful 280hp and adds a bit of bite to its smooth looks.
You can choose from 3 trims, the SRI, the Limited Edition and the VXR. When Vauxhall made this car, they did it to show what they are capable of and added a whole lot of extras as standard so even the SRI comes with 18” alloys, a 7” colour touchscreen, air-conditioning and torso holding sports front seats. The VXR goes a bit boy racer with a spoiler and a lowered sports chassis which is combined with a “FlexRide” control system which uses continuous damping control allowing you to select a driving mode to suit your mood.

The BMW 6 Series Coupe is a serious contender for best all round luxury Coupe. At this price, you will no doubt take for granted that the interior of the 6 series coupe is sumptuous and subline…and you would be correct but its the 6 series coupe’s engines and gearbox which really shine.
There are 4 engines to choose from, the 3 litre diesel 640d, a 3.0 litre petrol 640i and another 4.4 litre petrol V8 plus there is also an M6 version which is in another class with 554 bph and a twin V8 engine to blow all and sundry away. The Mercedes E Class Coupe is a traditional 2 door coupe that has one of the most amazing cabins available in a mainstream luxury vehicle. It’s incredibly popular with executives as it is effortless to drive, stylish and full of tech and you can see them on motorways throughout the country, quietly getting on with business.
There are 3 petrol engines and a duo of diesels. The petrols include a 2.0 litre, a 3 litre V6 and a 3.0 litre staight six AMG while the diesels are often snapped up by company car buyers where you can choose from a 2.0 litre E220d or a larger 3.0 litre V6, the E220d being the most popular.
