You may remember our Christmas charity campaign where we raised funds for Cash for Kids – Mission Christmas, by collecting gifts for disadvantaged children aged 0-18 in the North-West area. We are now taking part in Rock FM and Cash for Kids newest campaign ‘500 Faces’.
This campaign offers 500 businesses the chance to make a pledge to raise £100 each through their own fundraising profile in 365 days, hitting a worthy target of £50,000 overall.
Cash for Kids is the official partner charity of Rock FM and operates in 22 areas of the UK, including Lancashire. Every year Cash for Kids raise millions of pounds for disadvantaged local children and young people in the UK, with funds raised toward specialist equipment for children to enhance their quality of life, as well as split between children’s charities and organisations across the UK.
We immediately began brainstorming ways to raise the highest amount possible, whilst giving our customers and followers the chance to get involved in this too. In December 2016, we partnered up with Manchester Arena to reward our customers and staff with VIP gig tickets in our very own executive suite.
With this in mind, we decided that we could auction off a pair of VIP Take That tickets (let’s face it, who doesn’t love Gary Barlow!) for their upcoming ‘Wonderland’ tour this coming May.
These tickets will be available through our eBay page, lasting for 10 days and starting the bidding at just £0.99p – inviting anybody to get involved!
These aren’t just any tickets and include a magnificent view of the arena as well as extras such as; dedicated VIP entrance, reserved parking, private pay bar, waiter service, en-suite toilets and cloakroom facilities. The tickets will go live on our eBay page here at 10:00 am on 27th March.
We invite all customers, radio listeners and die-hard Take That fans to get bidding, or alternatively, you can support us through our ‘500 Faces’ fundraising page here:
