Hippo Leasing can provide just about any new or used Audi on lease. When you are in the market for an Audi you are clearly after quality and we have everything from the Audi A1 through to the A8.

Let’s take a quick look at each model in the A range, their attributes, features and what needs they clearly fill.

A1

The Audi A1 is a little star. When it was first launched, it looked somehow strange next to the much more imposing Audis, but has swiftly carved out a reputation as a zippy 3 or 5 door mini hatchback that is willing and stylish without being boring. Put simply, the Audi A1 is confident in its own skin and happy to go up against all the other mini hatchbacks such as the Fiat 500, BMW 1 Series, Ford Fiesta, the VW Polo and of course the Mini hatchback.

The Audi A1 has tight, taught and aggressive looks and it has handling characteristics to match with responsive steering and a feeling that the A1 is always ready to be let off the leash –  even if you are in an A1 with the smallest engines which start as a 1.0 litre Petrol. You can also opt for a larger 1.5 litre or even 2.0 litre petrol engine, equipping it with plenty of power for such a small car.

We have all the Audi A1 derivatives available for lease and you can find them here.Don’t forget that we also have used versions which include many engines that are no longer manufactured like the 1.6 litre diesel.

A3

So much has been written about the Audi A3 that it’s difficult to know where to start. Since its first launch in 1996 it has been a hit with its combination of sporty good looks, some serious engines and the A3 has served as the entry point for Audi ownership for many a year, so much so that we have customers who come back time and time again for a new trusted A3.

Audi has gone the whole hog with the A3. You can go after the fans favourite, the A3 Sportback,,the slender A3 Saloon or even a sexy Audi A3 Cabriolet which just exudes confidence, flair and style. We also have the more racier versions of the A3 such as the S3 Sportback, the S3 Cabriolet and let’s not forget the frankly fearsome Audi RS 3 which is the fastest 2.0 litre hatchback in production going from 0-62 mph in 4.1 seconds!

For most though the Audi A3 represents a fantastic blend of class, practicality and fun and you can find our huge selection of new and used Audi lease vehicles here.

A4

It’s hard to believe that the Audi A4 only went on sale in the UK in 1996. A whole generation was influenced by the Audi A4 and it became the sought-after default for rising junior execs and downsizing luxury car buyers. The Audi A4 is so much more than that now, with both a compact A4 saloon and a perfectly proportioned A4 Avant quietly selling in big numbers year after year.

The latest version of the Audi A4 focuses on comfort, refinement and a super quiet cabin rather than going for a sporty ride and it’s the better for itWith a more mature outlook, it’s amazing to uncover that around 90% of the new A4’s components are brand new.

The Audi A4 Avant also has its staunch advocates with the A4 Avant coming in SE, Sport, S Line and Black edition versions. Audi has changed the description of their engines from old money litre descriptions like the 2.0 litre to more cryptic 30, 35, 40 or 45 engine sizes – it can get quite confusing, so check out our Audi page for more info on the models and their specific engine sizes here.

Don’t forget the Audi A4 Allroad Avant which add all-wheel drive and some lovely luxurious touches.

A5

Let’s face it, the Audi A5 is, by anyone’s standards, one of the best looking cars on UK roads today. Whether you like the Coupe, Sportback or Cabriolet versions the Audi A5 is a looker that gets attention from the Highlands to the Lizard Peninsula. All three have diesel and petrol versions with a variety of engine powers on display.

The new Audi engine sizes are not expressed by size anymore eg a 1.5 litre diesel but by power output where 30 equates to 108 to 127hp, 35 on the back of your new Audi to 145 to 159 hp and 40 to 165 to 198hp. The Cabriolet boasts a 45 badge which means it will output 245hp which translates to a 0-62 mph time of 5.8 seconds, not bad for a petrol engine of just under 1.9 litres.

We always have new and used A5s in stock and our friendly account managers are here to help you select the one that’s right for you. Please click here to get the full range, ready for collection or delivery nationwide.

A6

The Audi A6 is squarely an Executive vehicle with an enhanced set of cutting-edge kit that has trickled down from the A8 and the A7.

There are 4 engines for the Saloon and the Avant, a 2.0 litre 4 cylinder diesel (the 40 TDI ),a 3.0 litre diesel (the 50 TDI), a slightly less powerful 3.0 litre diesel with Quattro (45 TDI) and a V6 Petrol engine (the 55 TDSI). The A6 Allroad Quattro comes with a 3.0 litre Diesel in 3 different power outputs from 218 Ps through to a finely tuned 320 PS which has an 8-speed gearbox to boot.

The A6 is tuned to perfection with a gearbox to boot

The new A6’s party trick is its mild hybrid setup where its 12 volt or 48-volt battery allows the engine to switch off and the car to coast for between 10 and 40 seconds, depending on the voltage, reducing emissions and improving economy.

All in all, the new Audi A6 makes a very good case against the usual contenders like the Mercedes E Class, the BMW 5 Series and the Volvo S90, not forgetting the Jaguar XF, and you can browse our selection of Audi A6 Saloons here or the estate Avant cars here.

A7

The Audi A7 was always a good looker but often took second place in its class to the Mercedes CLS, certainly when it came to units sold. Audi has made a concerted effort to change this through with the latest version of the Audi A7 which is loaded with smart tech and even more focus on providing stylish and aggressive looks that wrap around some very keen engines.

The new 48 Volt electrical system has better green credentials than its predecessor, with the ability to harness regenerative braking and cruise without using fuel for brief periods so that emissions are reduced to as low as 117g/km of CO2 and fuel economy improves to around 60 miles per gallon.

Inside, there is all the kit and more as promised: A 10.1” full HD touchscreen and also an 8.6” touchscreen with digital controls. 19” aluminium alloys that look ‘the biz’  and it’s got enough LED lights to make a kitchen designer jealous. Front electric seats with a memory function, plus rear wheel steering and dynamic steering and optional air suspension complete the package with the air suspension being a very good option to have, taking the A7 from a solid ride to a refined cruiser.

A8

Firstly, there are two Audi A8s. If you are driving the A8 L then there is a good chance that you are a chauffeur or you have kids with unusually long legs – like giraffe long because the “L” in A8 L stands for limousine and it’s nearly 5.3 metres long! Most will opt for the normal A8 however which has simply stunning tech to go along with its imposing presence.

The twin Audi communication and climate control screens are out of this world and the Audi A8 has a haptic feedback system that makes the onscreen buttons feel physical to touch.

Safety is paramount in this large and sleek Saloon where technology includes blind-spot monitoring, 360 degree cameras, adaptive cruise control, active pedestrian protection, ant curbing warning and (in the hopefully near future) remote parking, a traffic jam pilot system and autonomous driving meaning you can let the car drive when you’re travelling at under 37 miles/hour!

Open sesame! Your Audi A8 Saloon awaits…

Adaptive air suspension is standard so those in the back can enjoy their optional massage, TVs and beverages in Audi A8 serenity, ensconced in Valcona leather. The A8 is right up there with the best and you can see our offers here.
