Our 2014 Hyundai I40 Review

20th February 2014

The Hyundai I40 is, as described by Hyundai themselves, a Saloon that ‘combines stylish fluidic design with optimum space’.

This week we test drove the Hyundai I40 as we began stocking a selection of the 1.7 CRDi Blue Active Drive models. Initial impressions are good and the design is sleek, stylish and the interior is full of beautifully designed features for both comfort and gadgets to keep you entertained.

In the driver’s seat you will have your audio controls on hand within your steering wheel as well as an uncluttered dashboard with a CD Player containing USB and AUX connectivity and Bluetooth.

Not only are the features all clear and well placed but the vehicles comfort is probably up there with the very best we have reviewed recently. The seats are made of quality fabric and operating the peddles and your general driving position isn’t strained as you make your journey.

Economically you won’t find many better performers in this category with the I40 boasting a combined MPG of 66. You will also reduce your annual tax layout with it costing just £30 per year.

More standard features such as Airbags, IsoFix, Seatbelt Safety Reminder, Alarm and Immobiliser as well as electric Windows and Alloys are all present and add to the vehicles impressive specification.

Overall we love the Hyundai I40 and if you’re looking for a high performing Saloon with great features, a slick design with low outlay on tax and fuel then you may be a perfect fit for this model.

You can find the Hyundai I40 in stock at Hippo Leasing for just £179.80 + Vat per month here, Hyundai I40 Car Lease
