Body options

Seats, doors and wheelbase wise, you have three Land Rover Defender lease models to choose from: the 90, 110 and 130.

A Land Rover Defender 90 lease gets you the short-wheelbase, three-door, five-seat version which is 100kg lighter than the 110, and versatile trim options mean you can get a cheaper model alongside the top-end options. The core model in the range is the Land Rover Defender 110 – a five-door, seven-seat build that brings in more of the family-minded sensibilities. And, finally, you have the Land Rover Defender 130, an extended, five-metre-long alternative built on the same wheelbase as the 110, but with eight seats and even more space.

Trim levels

Trim options are a little complicated with the new Land Rover Defender leasing range as different trims apply to the different body and engine options available. Speak to our team to get a full run-through of what’s on offer with each option.

Entry-level SE and HSE trims come generously equipped but can both be upgraded with respective ‘X-Dynamic’ versions, which add desirable aesthetic upgrades like a black roof, privacy glass, satin dark grey 20” alloys and sating dark grey trim elements. There’s also an XS Edition trim that gets a few headline features you won’t even find on the higher-end standard HSE trim like air suspension, matrix LED headlights and metallic paint.

Step up to X trim for a blacked-out roof and bonnet combo, heads-up display and Windsor leather seating, or go for the flagship V8 that couples quad exhausts and highlighted brake callipers with the aforementioned engine.

Engine options

There are two 3.0-litre, six-cylinder diesel engines across the entire Land Rover Defender leasing catalogue, the D250 and D300, which both employ mild hybrid technology. There are also two petrol options, a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder P300 and a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder P400. Economy for the diesels sits around 32mpg, while the petrol engines average 26mpg.

You can also go for the P400e, a plug-in hybrid version available for the 110 model, which offers a battery-only range of 25 miles and rapid charge functionality. Finally, you have the P500 and P525 V8s, that trade in economy (they’ll average around 20mpg) for 0-62mph times below six seconds.
