Luxury vehicle brand Jaguar hardly needs an introduction, especially to the millions of car enthusiasts around the globe. This premium car manufacturer has been producing vehicles for almost 80 years, and has established an exceptional reputation for good ride and design quality. And, following its recent automotive launches, we’ve put together a Jaguar electric and hybrid car range guide.

It was only in recent times that Jaguar entered the electric and hybrid car segment, releasing their very first all-electric vehicle, the Jaguar I-Pace in 2018, and a follow up to the 2016 F-Pace with their first plug-in hybrid, the refreshed F-Pace in 2020.

Jaguar does not intend to stop there. In fact, Jaguar has committed itself to radical transformation, aiming to be completely all-electric by 2025, building only EV vehicles from that point onwards. This means no more combustion engine models.

For those of you looking for information about Jaguar’s eco-friendly options, Hippo Leasing has compiled a complete Jaguar electric and hybrid car range guide for your perusal.

Jaguar I-Pace

Starting off our list is the before mentioned Jaguar I-PACE, the brand’s first all-electric model.

Winner of World Car of the Year, World Car Design of the Year and World Green Car, in 2019, the I-PACE is a luxury SUV that combines top-class design with sports-car performance. The aerodynamic exterior of the I-PACE is enhanced by the boldly curved grille, the hood scoop, squared-off rear diffuser and a choice of standard 20-inch, split-spoke wheels.

The refined interior features handcrafted touches throughout, with plenty of attention given to every last detail. The cabin is exceptionally quiet thanks to sophisticated motor encapsulation that reduces sound. Highlighting the superior craftsmanship is the abundance of natural light provided by the panoramic sunroof, the generous amount of space on offer, along with seamlessly integrated technology.

Performance wise, the all-wheel-drive I-PACE houses two electric motors and a 90.0-kWh battery. This eco-friendly configuration allows the I-PACE to surge from 0-60mph in 4.5 seconds and to achieve a top speed of 125mph.

The all-electric powertrain of the I-PACE provides up to 292 miles of range when fully charged, with around 79 miles of range secured in just 15 minutes using an 100kW DC home charger.

Jaguar F-Pace

The Jaguar F-PACE is a luxury performance SUV that has previously won both World Car of the Year and World Car Design of the Year.

A seamlessly designed bonnet, bold radiator grille, wide air vents and double ‘J’ blade headlights, all contribute towards the F-PACES’s imposing presence.

The interior is beautifully designed and is packed with a vast array of top-quality features. These include 12-way heated electric front seats, wood veneer finishes, a sliding panoramic sunroof, an 11.4-inch touchscreen, full smartphone connectivity, wireless charging and ambient interior lighting, to name but a few.

The all-wheel-drive F-PACE Plug-in hybrid (PHEV) is powered by a 296 bhp, 2.0-litre, four-cylinder engine combined with a 141 bhp electric motor that generates a combined output of 398 bhp and 640 Nm of torque. This setup allows the F-PACE PHEV up to 128.4 mpg, along with up to 37 miles of all-electric driving.

The F-PACE’s battery can be recharged form 0-80 percent in just 30 minutes using a 50kWh DC rapid charger.

Jaguar E-Pace

The E-PACE is Jaguar’s first compact SUV and has been created using the perfect blend of good looks, powerful performance and superior technology.

The exterior of the E-PACE combines a sports car inspired design with the practicality of a modern SUV. Bold design features of the entry model include the stylish front grille, wide side vents, LED headlights and 17-inch, ten spoke wheels in Satin Dark Grey.

The style and refinement of the interior is made obvious by elements such as the embossed headrest and Chrome accents, along with the premium materials and delicate design details found throughout. The E-PACE also houses a range of state-of-the-art technology, designed to assist and enhance the driving experience. This includes the new Pivi Pro Infotainment system.

The PHEV version of the entry level E-PACE is powered by a 1.5-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine coupled with an electric motor that is mounted on the rear axle. This all-wheel-drive SUV has an all-electric driving range of 37 miles, and delivers around 117 mpg along with combined CO2 emissions of 54g/km.

The battery of the E-PACE PHEV can be charged from 0–80 percent in just 30 minutes when using a 50kW rapid charger.

Jaguar XE

The Jaguar XE is an attractive small luxury sedan with a stylish stance and a muscular presence. Notable exterior features include premium LED headlights with signature DRL and Auto High Beam Assist, heated electric door mirrors, along with 18-inch Gloss Silver wheels.

Inside the XE you’ll be greeted by 12-way electric front seats, high-end materials, touches and finishes throughout, along with a ten-inch touchscreen that provides access to the Pivi Entertainment System.

The XE is available with a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder Ingenium diesel engine combined with the latest Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (MHEV) technology. This setup allows the base model XE to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 6,9 seconds and to achieve a top speed of 146 mph.

The MHEV version of the XE employs technology that intelligently recovers energy through regenerative braking and redeploys it to assist the engine, thereby improving fuel consumption to 65.7 mpg and CO2 emissions to 127 g/km.

Jaguar XF

The Jaguar XF is a luxury sedan featuring an enhanced exterior design that includes a precision engineered front grille, advanced pixel LED headlights and newly designed front and rear bumpers.

The spacious and luxurious interior has been completely redesigned for 2022. High-quality materials, premium design elements and first-class finishes are prevalent in the XF, whilst the integrated and intuitive Pivi Pro Infotainment System provides access to important functionality, supplies relevant information, and delivers entertainment.

The base engine option is a turbocharged 2.0-litre, four-cylinder combined with the latest MHEV technology. This configuration enables the XF to produce 246 hp and 269-lb ft of torque. This allows the base XF model can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 7.1 seconds and to produce a top speed of 146 mph.

The Jaguar XE has a fuel economy of 57.6 mpg and C02 emissions of 129 g/km.
