Top Three Click And Drive Cars For August

23rd August 2017

There are times when we don’t want to wait for months for a new car. In fact, we want the car that very same day, and this can be for a variety of reasons. Hippo Leasing offers a service that delivers just that need. Our Click and Drive service allows you to choose a car and pick it up the same day.

If you want that, but need some suggestions of which car you could choose, we have three excellent suggestions for cars you can lease today. All you need to do is enquire, sign the documents and pick the car up on the same day; the car can also be delivered to you within 72 hours if you can’t pick it up. It’s as simple as that.

Ford B-Max

The Ford B-Max is a large people carrier version of the Ford Fiesta. This means that it drives brilliantly. Like the Fiesta, many of the B-Max’s rivals can’t compete with how much enjoyment and engagement drivers get from the B-Max.

The Ford B-Max comes with the now lauded 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engines. These are three-cylinder, turbocharged engines that deliver great performance and economy, which is what we all want these days, right?

The B-Max handles well in the corners thanks to the reduced body roll as a result of the focus on the Fiesta. The steering is accurate, balanced and sharp, giving you the opportunity to place the car wherever you fancy on the road. The right quality is comfortable without being too firm or too soft and absorbs most of the bumps and holes on the road.

On the inside, it is clear to see how the Ford B-Max is inspired by the Fiesta. Everything is well-built and functional with a small infotainment system in the centre console. Regarding space, it is easy to get in and out of the B-Max thanks to the sliding doors in the rear. There is also huge amounts of space for passengers in both the front and back of the car.

MINI Hatchback

The Mini Hatchback is the supermini of style. It does have a great variety of engines to choose from, including a 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol engine developing 136 bhp, with a fuel economy of 60.1 mpg.

Mini Hatchback

There is a 2.0-litre engine available in the Cooper S, Cooper S Works and the John Cooper Works models. The 1.5-litre engine feels more nimble thanks to the engine being lighter than the 2.0-litre, which weighs the car down but delivers a 0-60 mph in 6.3 seconds for the quickest model.

Mini always deliver fun drives when you start the engine (with a jet-fighter-style launch button). It handles itself well in the corners thanks to having plenty of grip and it takes bends smoothly, allowing you to have some real fun with it.

The interior is retro and yet modern in design. The centre dashboard is housed in a large round section that would have once held the brand’s signature speedo, but instead, now houses the infotainment system.

In the front of the car, there is plenty of space available for the driver and front passenger. In the rear, there are adequate amounts of space for passengers, with decent headroom available. The boot capacity is 211-litre with those rear seats upright.

Audi Q5

The Audi Q5 is a premium family SUV with a handsome exterior, stylish interior and plenty of engines to choose from. The interior really is a great place to sit. It has a sleek, minimalist design made from sturdy materials with metal trims, unpolished wood and soft plastics. It gives it a very upmarket feel.

Audi Q5

The front seats in the Q5 are plush and hugely comfortable with plenty of adjustability for people of all sizes to get their best driving position. The rear seats have just as much space with loads of head and leg room available. In the boot, there is 550-litres of capacity with the rear seats up. When you drop those rear seats, it grows by a further 1000-litres taking it up to 1,550-litres.

The Audi Q5 models all come with Quattro four-wheel drive and a seven-speed automatic gearbox as standard, and there is one petrol and one diesel engine to choose from. The 2.0-litre petrol engine is best for town driving as it is quieter and delivers a fuel economy of 30 mpg. It also dashes from 0-60 mph in just over 6 seconds. The 2.0-litre diesel engine delivers 190 bhp and a fuel economy of 40 mpg.
