How To Survive A Zombie Apocalypse This #Halloween

24th October 2016

Halloween is almost here and we are trying not to panic. We have heard a rumour that this is the year the zombie apocalypse is going to strike. We are hoping you will have your car ready or if you are looking for a new car, you should get one on private car leasing fast. If you want to survive this year’s zombie attack, then you need a car.

Here are six of our choices that will help you survive when the zombies come.

Armour Up

Safety is your priority when it comes to surviving the zombies. You need a car that can survive multiple hits from zombies trying to claw their way inside of your car. If you do find yourself in that position, then you should consider getting yourself into a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

It has the height, the size and the weight to withstand a zombie attack and you have the space inside for all the family. With all 5 seats filled, you can safely drive out of the zombie infested city to the safe zone set up in your nearby town.

Accelerate to escape speed

If you don’t need to rescue an entire family and you only have maybe yourself and a couple of friends, then speed is what you need. Check out the Ford Focus ST as it produces 271 bhp and tops out at 154 mph.

If the zombies are close behind you, then don’t worry. The Focus ST accelerates from 0-60 mph in 5.7 seconds. If you get the chance, you can even knock a few zombies out of the way as you speed out of the city.

Rescue as many as possible

You may be one of those people who wants to save as many people as possible before they die or become zombified. For that, you will need a real people moving vehicle and we have just the suggestion. The Ford Transit van.

This van is great because of the load capacity at the rear that allows you to pick up a good number of people and keep them save inside. The van is always very stable so it should be able to withstand zombie attacks from the side and the rear, allowing you to deliver the injured to the safe zone for medical assistance.

Civil dispersal

Now you may be that sort of person who enjoys simply hitting things and a zombie apocalypse gives you ample opportunity to do just that. You will need a car that is fast, strong and perfect for dispensing with the zombie horde. The Land Rover Discovery it is then.

This car is excellent for just piling through the middle of the zombies and if you have a great playlist ready, the sound system is great. You can blast out those songs as you watch those zombies fly.

Fill it up

Some of you have many treasured possessions you would rather not lose to the zombie horde. Well if you flip open the boot to your Skoda Superb, you will discover a boot capacity of 625-litres. That should be enough to store all your treasure possessions of choice. However, if you wish to protect your horde from the horde, then drop those back seats and you get even more space.

Warning: If you take too long to fill up the Superb, you may get eaten. So do it quickly.

Slow and steady wins the race

Speed can be great for that quick getaway, but when it comes to getting as far away from the horde as possible, speed doesn’t always produce the best results as you do run out of fuel quicker. A good alternative if you don’t necessarily need speed, but distance is the get a more fuel efficient car. The Peugeot 208 is a brilliant example of a car that can get you far away from the infected zone and closer to that safe zone. It does after all produce 94.2 mpg.

You may have better ideas. These are just our suggestions. But hurry. With the zombies coming, none of us are truly safe. Consider getting a car on one of our great lease deals on the car you want.
