When Bentley, Ferrari and Rolls Royce turned their designers towards producing a luxury SUV, it was only a matter of time before Lamborghini did the same in the form of the Lamborghini Urus. The truth is that SUV's have carved out a rich niche which became a seam and is now a massive torrent of SUV seeking buyers and the class is here to stay so why not a Lamborghini SUV! The Urus is powered by a 4.0 litre twin turbo V8 which produces over 640 HP and some serious torque with over 620lb ft to make the Urus rush off the line and to infinity (0-62 mph) in 3.7 seconds tough its claimed that this is very conservative and much better numbers can actually be achieved on the track. Top speed is reputed to be around 186mph - not bad for a Sports Utility Vehicle! The V8 engine is linked to an eight speed ZF automatic transmission and the carbon ceramic brakes are massive, 440mm for the front brakes and 370mm for the rear - it's good to know that Lamborghini want to set you into orbit but also give you the option of stopping quickly. 21 wheels come as standard but you can go large and get 22 or 23 inch wheels as an option.
