Dacia has unveiled a new special edition version of its popular Duster SUV. With updated design and tech, the 2022 Dacia Duster Extreme SE is based on the model’s range-topping version, the Dacia Duster Prestige. However, the Extreme SE takes style, interior, and the standard kit to a new level alongside offering an affordable price mark, starting from £17,495.
This new special edition has refreshed design elements, and up-to-date safety features, all while continuing to offer the same robustness, comfort, and value-for-money that Dacia is famed for. All the best elements are taken from the Prestige trim and enhanced in the new special edition which includes exclusive design cues and fresh features to form what remains one of the UK’s best-selling range of family SUVs.
Available to order from April, the Extreme SE debuts with a strong exterior and a revamped spacious interior. Kitted with 17-inch Black alloy wheels and in an exclusive new Urban Grey paint, the role of the new Dacia Duster Extreme SE is to offer drivers a reliable build with more modern features.
The Extreme SE is also available in seven other colours, all of which are complemented by door mirrors, grille, and roof bars finished in Grey Quartz with orange detailing. The tailgate trim with ‘Duster’ inscription is a combination of Black and satin chrome.
The theme continues inside, with orange featuring on the satin chrome air vent surrounds, a charcoal grey centre console surround, and the piano black inserts in the front door panels. There’s also orange stitching on the seats.
Standard equipment includes an array of the best in-car tech with automatic air conditioning, keyless entry, multi-view camera, and blind spot warning for safer, enjoyable driving.
Other notable features include heated seats, acoustic windshield, and the Media Nav infotainment system with 8-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone mirroring and satellite navigation.
Powering the 2022 Dacia Duster Extreme SE under the bonnet is a choice of efficient Euro 6-compliant engines. This includes the Bi-Fuel powertrain with a turbocharged petrol engine capable of running on both petrol and LPG.
Depending on the engine, the new special edition also offers the option of four-wheel drive or the smooth-shifting, dual-clutch automatic EDC gearbox.
The 2022 Dacia Duster Extreme SE will be available to order from April onwards, with the first deliveries in May.
